They don’t have a lot of storage, so can’t really camp or take a lot of gear with you, but they’re very portable and easy to transport (no roof racks required). Setup takes about 5 mins once you get the hang of it. The paddleboard is nice on calm water and you're up higher so have a better view down if there's wildlife underneath. Kayak is better for longer distances and exploring I find. I'm going to sell my paddleboard as I use it much since I've had the kayak.
