Usually when frogs reproduce they lay egg and the young emerge from them. A fanged frog, however, has been observed actually giving birth to tadpoles.The frog lives most of its life underground, so it has very unusual features. In addition to the purple hue, the frog has a unique pointed nose, resembling a mole more than a frog. It also has a round, lumpy, and somewhat disproportionate body.
